Cyberdream Studios has been home to music and lyrics for dozens of artists since we first opened the room in late 2000.
When I was young, I used to dream of having a single, quite, well designed place to not only record without the hourly charge of a "big studio", but also a room that would stimulate the creative juices and provide a place for friends and invited guests to realize their musical dreams. So when we moved into the Fullerton house, the first room we finished was my project studio. Slowly, I've acquired some wonderful JBL monitors, a great 88 weighted keyboard, a modest collection of fine microphones, and some other cool gear. Since then I've laid beautiful bamboo flooring and treated the walls with paint and acoustic treatment that makes the the room perfect for recording vocals as well as drums.
Pro tools has always been our audio recording platform of choice in and out of the studio. With pretty much all the tools I need to compose, record, master and produce a finished product just footsteps away from the main house, I'm living my dream: recoding whenever I get the itch, and supplementing the revenue stream of my Computer Technology business with projects from the studio. I have done post production for several corporate videos, and provided content for of public access programs. We've recorded live productions for clients and composed music for various independent productions.
Below is our latest project. An album of songs that reflect the past couple of years in the life of Mr. Seven.

When I was 9 I used to pick out by ear the songs my mom was learning from her piano lessons. Surprised, she started me in piano lessons too. I used to have my friends over and we would play piano, guitar and bang on these really large brass candlesticks my parents had (they made a nice sound). Later on, I started different bands and would play at house parties and different events. We used to have a Pink Floyd cover band at one time, and played my originals too. Music and Computers were always my love. At college in Keene, TX, they gave me my own room for band practice and I would frequent the college studio where I contribute my talents. Later, I moved to California to marry my college sweetheart. My good friend and drummer Katsu moved to Santa Monica and I would travel there almost every weekend to just jam. I put music on hold to build my computer technology consulting business until I built the Cyberdream Studio.
